Wine Review: This lovely Pinot Noir from J Vineyards is a translucent garnet color. The bouquet of earthy raspberry, cherry-cola and cinnamon spice is inviting. On the palate, it is medium bodied, very juicy and chewy. Its flavors feature dark cherry, lavender and plum with notes of vanilla. There are some nice grippy tannins in the lingering finish. Serve up this Pinot some grilled steak tips and be sure to pour a second glass. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: The 2015 J Vineyards Pinot Noir has aromatic notes of exotic spice, cherry preserves and black tea. The palate is plush, jammy and ripe with flavors of spicy black pepper, cola and plum. Enjoy this wine with roasted leg of lamb with a balsamic-fig reduction with a creamy mushroom risotto.
