Wine Review: This light pink colored Rose from J Vineyards is made from Pinot Noir. It opens with an inviting mild strawberry and gentle wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and displays nice gentle acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused gentle strawberry with hints of watermelon. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Rose is very food friendly and would pair well with many foods. I would pair it with chicken satay. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our golden-pink hued 2013 Vin Gris features aromas of red cherry, strawberry and a perfumed bouquet of fresh cut flowers. The palate offers tart cherry, wild strawberry, rose petals and clean, crisp acidity. This pretty wine will pair elegantly with spinach salad topped with pecans and strawberries, watermelon gazpacho, and barbequed oysters with chipotle butter.
