Wine Review: This almost clear colored Pinot Gris from the Russian River opens with a green apple, green pear and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple and Anjou pear blend with notes of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger for a little while. This Pinot Gris would pair well with steamed mussels in a wine and garlic broth. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: With a bouquet of tropical flavors, peaches and honeysuckle, the aromas introduce crisp, lovely layers of white peach, white flower, chamomile and a spritz of lime. This wine sports bright acidity, making it suitable to pair with a variety of foods, from spicy Thai to Indian curry-influenced cuisines. Also try shellfish with tropical salsa or slow-cooked pork loin served with peach chutney.
