Wine Review: This light yellow Chardonnay opens with a fragrant lemon meringue pie bouquet with a hint of green apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mild lemon and old oak blend with notes of butterscotch and bread dough. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This wine would be a perfect offering with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Distinctive spicy, mineral and lemon zesty flavors play center stage in our first vintage of the 2010 Jewell Ranch Vineyard. Delicate vanilla, pear and butterscotch flavors give this wine a Meursault-like quality that speaks to J's elegance and balance. We love the way it pairs with a salmon steak, lightly broiled or grilled on an open flame.
