Wine Review: This dark red Pinot opens with an attractive wintergreen and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and rich for a Pinot. It flavor profile is a unique. It consists of very tasty warm black raspberry and blueberry with hints of mint and coconut. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well controlled. This Pinot would be perfect with veal parmigianna or chicken cacciatore. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2007 vintage is a plush, full wine exhibiting the expressive character of Russian River Valley. An excellent growing season provided a wine of great depth with elegantly composed layers. Aromas of violets, rose and wild blackberry fill the glass. As the wine opens there are hints of cocoa, cinnamon and cloves. The traditional Pinot Noir flavors of cherry and strawberry are fully integrated with the subtle oak tannins.
