Wine Review: This fruity and inviting Riesling from Monterey is a pale straw color, with aromas of pear, lychee, gardenias, and ginger. On the palate, it is crisp, off-dry, delicate, round, balanced, medium bodied with medium-plus acidity. There are flavors of white peach, wet stone, honeydew, Bosc pear and white pepper. The finish is tangy and lingers for a while. Serve this versatile Riesling along with barbecue pork chops with creamy coleslaw. - Mark
