Wine Review: This clear purple colored Valdiguié from J. Lohr opens with a black cherry and marionberry bouquet with hints of riverbed and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a strawberry and black raspberry blend with notes of loam and red cherry. We also detected hints of pomegranate. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely.
