Wine Review: This slightly cloudy dark garnet colored Zinfandel Port from J. Dusi opens with a cinnamon and red licorice bouquet with hints of new leather and walnut. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, syrupy, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a blend of dried cherries and candied orange peel with notes of molasses and clove. We also detected hints of cedar and walnut. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this very tasty Zin Port with bread pudding. Enjoy - KWGTP
