Wine Review: This opaque dark purple colored wine opens with an attractive dried cranberry and mild boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, fruit forward, and smooth. The flavor profile is a rich blackberry with notes of coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and displays moderate tannins that are nicely prolonged. We felt wine would pair well with barbecue ribs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: "A bold wine that immediately leaps from the glass with sweet oak, cassis and nutmeg aromas. Vibrant intense flavors of red cherry and plum are accentuated by soft French oak tannins, cedar and tobacco. The flavors, aromas and tannins on this big Cabernet will continue to meld and marry with age—an exciting wine to cellar for 10–15 years." — Leslie Sisneros
