Wine Review: This bright straw-colored Sparkling Wine opens with lots of small streaming bubbles. On the nose, we detected aromas of musty dough , pressed red apples, lemon verbena, and sea salt air. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is delicate, slightly creamy, and fresh. The flavor profile is bread dough and green tea blend with notes of chalky minerality, marzipan and lime. We also detected hints of ginger and lemon verbena. The finish is dry and refreshing. We would pair this sparkler with sushi or on Thanksgiving morning with warm orange cranberry scones. Enjoy – Ken and Dave
Winemaker Notes: On the nose, very inviting tropical fruit, lychee, and green apple. Green apple and lemon zest on the front palate. Creamy and rich throughout the palate. Great minerality in the mid to back palate with a touch of salinity on the finish.
