Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens a black cherry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, fruit forward, lush and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe blueberry with notes of boysenberry jam and a touch of plum, pepper and mild oak towards the end. The finish is dry and its forward ripe flavors last for quite some time after the wine is gone. This is a really good drinking Zin and it would pair well with filet mignon. It also went very well with apple sauce raisin spice cake. Enjoy - Ken
