Wine Review: This light yellow colored dessert wine might be the best Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc that I have covered from California. It opens with an inviting mild apricot bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, viscous, and very nicely balanced. The flavor profile is a rich and delicious ripe peach and apricot blend. Its finish is pleasantly sweet and quite enjoyable. This wine went perfectly with our cheese course at Grill 23. One of our guests said it was Excellent. We all agreed and not a drop remained. Winemaker Notes: Flavors of honey, dried apricots and pear, hints of grapefruit rind and mineral. Luscious, with a rich, long finish and balanced acidity.
