Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a white peach and gentle gooseberry bouquet with hints of lime, hot pretzel and flint. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied, beautifully balanced, smooth and elegant. The flavor profile is very tasty ginger and gooseberry blend with notes of honeydew melon and nicely integrated stony minerality. We also picked up some hints of white peach and green tea mixed in. The finish is dry, long and refreshing. The Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with pan-fried rainbow trout, shrimp and grits or with grilled sea bass. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Served at 10°C, Sancerre Blanc match perfectly with fish and seafood. It is also very appreciated with the other local specialty, the goat cheese Crottin de Chavignol.
