Wine Review: This Expo discovery is a great value. It is bright red colored and opens with a mild oak and cherry bouquet with a hint of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a pleasant gentle plum and fresh raspberry blend with hints of vanilla cola and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and subtle. Readers always ask me for a very good $20 Pinot. Here it is! I would pair this food friendly offering with many foods, but a salmon burger did come to mine first. Enjoy - Ken
