Wine Review: This off-dry-styled Riesling from Hermann Wiemer is a brilliant white gold color and opens with a shy bosc pear and green apple bouquet with hints of honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, slightly viscous and supple. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear and stony minerality blend with notes of chamomile tea. We also detected hints of honey and almond. The finish is off-dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this food friendly Riesling with Rhode Island fried calamari. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Proximity to the lake extends growing seasons in our Magdalena Vineyard. The additional ripeness this unlocks can show through with striking intensity. Layers of ripe orchard fruit and tropical fruit coat the palate supported by broad, lingering acidities.
