Wine Review: This light gold colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a quince and ginger bouquet with hints of chamomile tea and lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well-balanced and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. It features quince, ginger and lime zest with nicely integrated chalky minerality. I also detected some hints of white pepper, saline and chamomile tea in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and quite refreshing. I would pair this dry Riesling with the beach. With food try it with oysters! Enjoy - Ken
