Wine Review: This translucent and light hay colored Sauvignon Blanc from Greywacke opens with a very fragrant yellow grapefruit and nectarine pit bouquet with hints of lemon zest and passionfruit. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very bright, zesty, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty and very pronounced lime zest and white grapefruit blend with notes of nectarine pit and ginger. I also detected hints of green tea, honeydew melon, and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. I would sip this tasty Sauvignon Blanc on the porch this summer on a hot day. Enjoy - Ken
