Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Riesling opens with wet stone, pencil lead, apple and gentle lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and very well balanced between its acidity and pleasant fruit flavors. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of mild ripe red apple and bosc pear with hints of mild minerality. The finish is pleasantly sweet and it drifts away nicely. This Spatlese is exceptionally good and would pair perfectly with General Gau chicken. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This lovely Mosel Riesling has a bouquet and flavor profile reminiscent of lime, apricots and citrus fruit. Sweet, but crisp. Pairings: A perfect match with seafood, salads and spicy cuisine.
