Wine Review: This pale copper colored wine made from Pinot Noir opens with an attractive mild watermelon bouquet with hints of lime, chalk and Maraschino cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with lively and fresh acidity. It is quite mouthwatering. The flavor profile is tasty gentle strawberry and mild red raspberry blend with notes of nicely integrated chalky minerality and lime zest. We also detected a hint of peach pit at the very end. The finish is dry and lingers slightly. This delicate style Rose could be quite quaffable served cool on a hot day. With food, we would try it with a rice salad with rock shrimp and asparagus or with a shrimp and guacamole parfait. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
Winemaker Notes: From its light salmon hue to its fetching aromas of candied strawberry, stone fruit, bubble gum and guava, this is a delightfully bright and aromatic wine. On the palate, a racy, mouthwatering acidity provides energy and length to the juicy red berry, citrus and mineral flavors, driving the wine to a bright finish with hints of flintiness and pink grapefruit zest.
