Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Goldeneye is very good. It opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet with hints of earthy undertones, lavender and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and super smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty gentle mineral infused mild cherry with notes of vanilla. We also detected hints of nutmeg and dark plum towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity and mild tannins stick around for quite a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with lamb stew. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This lush and robust Pinot Noir offers alluring aromas of warm blueberry crumble, bramble and pennyroyal that leap from the glass. Though displaying excellent weight and complexity, it is balanced and fresh on the palate, with a lovely driving acidity framing the luxurious dark berry and earth flavors, while carrying the wine to a long, juicy finish.
