Wine Review: This light coral colored Sparkler from Goldeneye has some fine and medium bubbles. It opens with mild strawberry bouquet with hints of bread dough. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and elegant. The flavors profile is a mineral infused watermelon and mild strawberry blend with hints of toast and yeasty bread dough throughout. The finish is dry and its pleasant acidity fades away nicely. This sparkler will pair nicely with shrimp cocktail. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Hailing from California’s preeminent sparkling wine region, Anderson Valley, this bubbly delight sings on the palate. Drawing minerality and citrus notes from Chardonnay grapes, and more nuanced hints of spice, cinnamon and Italian leather from Pinot Noir, this sparkler bursts onto the palate. Combining the crispness of key lime and Granny Smith apple, with savory notes of fresh brioche and orange marmalade, it is deliciously balanced and graceful.
