Wine Review: The Gloria Ferrer Brut has become a household name and rightly so. Although it may not have the richness and depth of Champagne, this medium-bodied sparkler has the typical characteristics of a sparkler in its youth. From the fresh stone fruit flavors to the medium and mouth-filling bubbles to the bright and electric acidity. This California sparkler is great on its own, mixed in a spritzer, or paired with fried cod. - Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Delicate pear and floral notes backed by toasty almond. On the palate, one finds lively citrus, toast and apple flavors overlaid with persistent effervescence, a creamy mid-palate and toasty finish. A tremendously versatile wine that is equally delicious with shellfish, roasted chicken or sushi.
