Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sparkler from Carneros opens with a bread dough like bouquet with a hint of mild green apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple. The finish is dry, tingly, and zippy. The panel suggested that this would be a very nice wedding toast sparkler or as a mimosa with a sausage and egg casserole in bed for breakfast. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A wonderful medley of effusive fruit tones including ripe apple, bright cherry, strawberry and citrus mingle with hints of cream, biscuit and toast in the very complex nose of this well-developed yet vibrantly fresh sparkling wine. The lush, generous textures continue the creaminess, laced with rich lemon and apple flavors and lovely suggestions of yeast, caramel and marzipan throughout the deftly balanced and persistent finish.
