Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Gap's Crown Vineyard opens with a fragrant black cherry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious black cherry with notes of cola, pomegranate, minerality and oak. The finish is dry and its tannins are sticky and linger and last for a very long time. Our mini-Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with a filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Fresh and invigorating flavors of cranberry, tart cherries, and pomegranate introduce this wine from Gap's Crown. Earthy aromas with savory undertones, hints of cola and dried flowers display the complexity of this unique vineyard site. The mouthfeel is firm, yet elegant, with layers of abundant natural acidity that provide a nice counterpoint to the well-integrated tannic structure.
