Wine Review: This pale straw colored Verdicchio opens with an inviting apricot and peaches bouquet with some floral notes and a hint of citrus. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with crisp mouthwatering acidity. The flavor profile is pineapple, lime, and wet stone blend with hints of lemon, green apple and herbs. The finish is pleasant, slightly dry and fades away nicely. I would recommend pairing this well-priced Italian Verdicchio with chicken piccata. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Our Verdicchio is straw yellow colored with greenish reflections. On the nose, it is fruity and remarkably elegant with a predominance of scents of ripe fruit such as peaches, apples and exotic varieties. The flavor is sapid and firmly structured with a note of freshness that is extremely pleasing. Enjoy this wine within two to three years after the vintage, if properly preserved. Pairs nicely with fried and roasted seafood, as well as olives alla marchigiana.
