Wine Review: This pale straw colored Verdicchio opens with a candle wax and pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, smooth and round. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced walnut with notes of lemon verbena and a hint of chamomile tea lingering towards the end. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. This Verdicchio would pair well with trout almondine. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This Verdicchio is golden yellow with greenish reflections. Its bouquet displays intense aromas of ripe yellow fruit accompanied by elegant scents of citrus fruit combined with a note of honey, an ensemble of great complexity and persistence. On the palate, it is seductive and soft but with great character and strength, sapidity is extremely prolonged, warm and elegant. This wine makes a perfect accompaniment for elaborate fish dishes and poultry of all types flavored with herbs.
