Wine Review: This opaque and pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alexander Valley opens with a blackberry jam bouquet with hints of cedar and fig. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, very smooth and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty blackberry and black cherry blend with hints of minerality, red beet and mild cedar plank. The finish is dry and its fine tannins fade away nicely. This Cab would pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of cassis and crushed berries. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, raspberry, cedar and tobacco are framed by firm, velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish.
