Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with cranberry and pencil lead bouquet with hints of wet stone and blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and approachable. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and blackberry blend with notes of mint, black currant, and cedar. I also detected hints of cherry-cola and craisin in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its fine and dusty tannins linger and last for a while. I would pair this Cab with filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This beautifully complex and classically styled wine is perfumed with aromas of sweet blackberries, violets, and vanilla that guide espresso, nutmeg, and cedar flavors on the palate. Silky tannins and ample, fresh acidity support the complex flavors, lending elegance to the long, expressive finish.
