Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a gentle boysenberry and cola bouquet hints of black cherry and faint strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, approachable and easy to drink. The flavor profile is cherry-cola and black plum blend with notes of boysenberry. The finish is dry and its well-integrated mild tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with many foods. Our first choice would be a grilled hanger steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: From the eastern climes of the Napa Valley, this Chiles Valley vineyard site provides a plum and fig filled entry of cocoa powder and cracked pepper. Rounded and rich in blackberry and vanilla, our Zinfandel has deep concentration, an impressive ripeness that's balanced by a backbone of bright acidity.
