Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a gooseberry, yellow grapefruit and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and has lively acidity that is mouthwatering. The flavor profile is like the nose. It features ripe yellow grapefruit with notes of white pepper and acidity and a hint of stone fruit. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors are nicely prolonged. This Sauvignon Blanc would be ideal for a hot day. I would pair it with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The clay-limestone soils impart aromas of lemon and exotic fruit while the boulbenes terroir contributes vegetable aromas, notes of lime and a seamless acidity. The nose reveals suggestions of white peach and mint followed by nuances of citrus. The elegant palate finds a balance between fresh fruit and minerality with a smooth finish that is tinged with grapefruit.
