Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Fortunate Son opens with black currant and pipe tobacco bouquet with hints of boysenberry and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is an extracted cassis and stone dust blend with notes of oolong tea and black cherry. We also detected hints of blueberry and oak. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins are very long and sustained. We would pair this very impressive Cab with Roy's rib roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
