Wine Review: This red colored blend from Flat Top Hills opens with an appealing blackberry and cedar bouquet. I also noted strong hints of Bing cherries. On the palate this wine is full bodied, smooth, and slightly dry with some sweetness. The flavor profile features black raspberries, oak and hints of black licorice. The tannin's, while robust, were balanced and flavorful. The finish had some hints of minerality that pleasantly faded away. I would pair this nice red blend with beef bolognese. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Our Flat Top Hills Red Blend is a mouth-watering, medium to full-bodied wine with cinnamon stick and spice components that marry well with generous, dark fruit and bright raspberry notes. This well-structured, balanced wine satisfies the palate with a medium to long finish. Pair Flat Top Hills Red Blend with portabella mushroom burgers or barbecue pork ribs.
