Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with an inviting teaberry, raspberry, and cola bouquet with hints of black cherry, nutmeg, and cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is red plum and stony minerality blend with notes of cranberry and strawberry. We also detected some hints of herbal tea, teaberry and sauteed mushrooms. The finish is dry, and its mild refined tannins are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with roasted pork with sage, rosemary, and garlic or with a charcuterie board. Enjoy – KWGTP
