Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Flanagan opens with a cedar and chocolate covered black cherries bouquet with hints of violets and cigar box. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and concentrated. The flavor profile is a Dr. Pepper and mocha blend with notes of cedar and wild blueberry. We also detected some hints of spearmint and spiced black plum. The finish is dry, and its flavors and medium refined tannins are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – KWGTP (Find this wine on premise as a terrific glass pour option at your favorite restaurant or country club.)
