Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan was well received by our mini-tasting group. It opens with a fragrant strawberry bouquet with hints of black cherry and some earthiness. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well-balanced, smooth and shows nice finesse. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and red currant blend with notes of flinty minerality and cranberry. We also detected hints of oak and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length for a Pinot. The one issue that was pointed out, was there was a touch of heat at the very end. That said, I would pair this very nice Pinot with duck confit. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of spice and citrus blossom unfold into a seamless palate of wild strawberry, cherry, and cedar. This is an elegant, round, balanced Pinot Noir.
