Wine Review: This bright yellow colored Chardonnay from Flanagan is very good. It opens with a fragrant lemon and oak bouquet with a hint of pineapple and butterscotch. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied and is mouthwatering with plus acidity. The flavor profile is very citrusy featuring lemon with notes of pear and oak with hints of butter and nutmeg. The finish is dry and nicely extended. This is a food friendly and versatile Chard. We would suggest pairing it with Chicken St. Timothy. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine will age, like a great white Burgundy, for a decade or more. I frequently open this wine and drink one glass a day for a week to see the evolution in it as it is exposed to air. I refrigerate it, but I don’t gas it. The wine evolves beautifully and shows almost no signs at all of oxidation, even after a week of being open.
