Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Albarino opens with a mild lime and wet stone like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, and clean. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced light lime with a hint of apricot in the background. The finish is quite dry and rather refreshing, making this a pleasant choice for a hot summer day. It would be a perfect choice for a clam bake to serve with steamers and corn on the cob. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Alive with complex aromas of fresh pineapple, spring flowers, citrus and white pears, Fillaboa's 2008 Joven Albarino has a brilliant golden hue. Complex layers of tropical and orchard fruit are also exhibited on the palate, which enhance the wine's freshness and complexity. With crisp acidity and soft tannins, this wine is elegant and refined with a very long finish.
