Wine Review: This pale coral colored Rose from France opens with a fragrant strawberry and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slight acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral infused strawberry and peach blend with notes of lime. I also detected hints of red cherry and clementine. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair with steamed mussels. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Mira Rose is a soft pink-rose color, with lychee highlights. The nose is delicate, opening to a red berry and candy aromas. It is fresh on the palate, developing lemon and mandarin aromas as it opens up. This is a well-balanced rose. This wine is ideally served by itself as an aperitif, but is also excellent with white meats, such as chicken or pork, grilled fish and mixed salads, and pairs well with many light, summery meals.
