Wine Review: This dark coral colored wine from Cotes du Rhone is a good value weekday Rose. It opens with a fragrant strawberry and tangerine bouquet with hints of red cherry. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild red cherry with hints of strawberry and blood orange towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger for quite a while after the wine is gone. I would pair this Rose with a grilled mahi-mahi sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Colour: intense and bright rose colour. Nose: Aromas of red berries (raspberries, red currant) Palate: fresh and lively attack, wine displaying a lot of freshness, roundness with aromas of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry). A lot of minerality on the finish.
