Wine Review: Excelsior is one of the better less-expensive brands in the market. Grapes are sourced from the Robertson region of South Africa, and because of it they are great values. This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc is no exception. With notes of lime zest, bell pepper, and green tea this wine is imitating the Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc but at a fraction of the price. I would pair this offering with a pan-seared tuna steak sandwich. - Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Yellow-green colour. The nose is complex with passion fruit, grapefruit and ripe fig aromas. The palate is fruity with a zesty acidity. Food pairing: Chicken filet with roasted lemons, green olives and capers.
