Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay from Estancia is a good value. It opens with a mild apple bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a rich oak influenced apple and pear with hints of butterscotch hard candy as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. This Chard is for fans of an oaky style. I would pair it with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Light straw gold in color Aroma: Honey and tropical fruit with notes of pineapple and peach Flavor: Lush, tropical fruit with touches of sweet vanilla and butter cream
