Wine Review: This solid effort from Epiphany is pitch black colored and opens with a new leather, mint and rhubarb like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty cherry-cola with hints of oak, blackberry, and blueberry. The finish is rather dry and its sticky tannins build up and last for quite a while. The panel suggested pairing this very good Petite Sirah with beef bourguignon or beef stroganoff. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This Petite Sirah is no shrinking violet, providing bold flavors of cassis, black cherry, plum, vanilla, bbq spice and dark chocolate. Enjoy mature, rounded tannins with a long chocolaty finish. Savor this big, rich, full-bodied wine with hearty red meats, strong dry cheeses or chocolates.
