Wine Review: Grenache Blanc is one of my favorite summer wines. This one from Epiphany is really nice and was very well received by everyone that tried it. It is pale straw colored and opens with bees wax and ripe Anjou pear like bouquet. This wine is medium to full bodied, slightly acidic, yet round and really has a full palate presence. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe Bosc pear with notes of white peach and just a touch of green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite some time. This wine would be perfect at the beach. It would also pair well with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Grenache Blanc has refreshing aromas of white nectarine, apricot, anise and white flowers on the nose. Flavors of nectarine, white peach, grapefruit, apricot and Asian pear combine on the palate to make this a truely food friendly wine.
