Wine Review: This red colored Barolo opens with a fragrant strawberry and oak bouquet with hints of red plum and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, well-balanced and super smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild cherry and strawberry blend with notes of minerality, plum and light oak. The finish is dry and its refined chalky tannins build-up and display considerable length. The Panel suggested pairing this very nice Barolo with a Colorado lamb chop. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our Barolo is deep ruby red colored with garnet hues. It displays a wide, intense and complex bouquet with scent of blackberry, licorice, tobacco, spices, coffee beans and faded roses. The Nebbiolo grape is easily recognizable. On the palate, it is multifaceted, dry, full bodied, elegant, harmonic, rich in fine tannins and has a pleasant long finish. It pairs with hunting game, roasts and mature cheeses. It can be cellared for 15-20 years.
