Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored biodynamic red blend from Chile opens with a barnyard like bouquet with a hint of black raspberry and black cherry hidden in the background. Aeration is definitely beneficial for this wine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very juicy, lush, and jammy. The flavor profile is a very ripe boysenberry jam and plum with notes of black licorice and nicely integrated smoky cedar plank. The finish is dry and its juicy flavors linger along with well managed fine tannins. This is a very good wine that would be perfect with a dry-aged ribeye. Decant it for a bit before serving and enjoy. Ken
