Wine Review: This translucent and light-yellow colored Chardonnay from Eden Rift opens with a faint golden delicious apple and honeydew melon bouquet with hints of lemon pith and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and elegant. The flavor profile is pear and honeydew melon blend with notes of banana, gentle oak, and spice. We also detected some hints of almond cookie, pineapple, guava, and faint lemon. The finish is dry and flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Chard with butter poached halibut or cod or with your favorite sushi roll. Enjoy – KWGTP
