Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Eden Rift opens with a plum, black raspberry, and violet bouquet with hints of strawberry, and flint stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, lively, and a little zesty. The flavor profile is tasty black plum and cinnamon blend with notes of red raspberry and strawberry. We also detected hints of dried herbs, cedar, and mushrooms. The finish is dry and its refined tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This wine benefits from some aeration. I would decant this Pinot briefly to polish it up before pairing it with roasted pork loin. Enjoy – KWGTP
