Wine Review: This translucent and bright white gold colored Chardonnay from Dutton Goldfield opens with an inviting poached pear and light oak bouquet with hints of green apple and lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with fresh acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is Anjou pear and chalky minerality blend with notes of almond and green tea. We also detected hints of hint of gentle oak and green apple. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. We would pair this Chard with Wellfleet oysters or crab cakes. Enjoy - KWGTP
