Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Dutton Goldfield opens with a coffee bean and black cherry bouquet with hints of black currant, oak, and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, velvety, and rich. The flavor profile is red currant and clove blend with notes of cinnamon, black cherry, and oak. We also detected hints of faint loam and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its moderate polished tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Pinot with a pan-seared duck breast or Stuart's beef wellington. Enjoy – KWGTP
