Wine Review: This Chard is made for oak lovers. Those that like plenty of oak in their Chard will love it, those who do not like lots of oak should probably find a different option. This light yellow colored Chard opens with an oak infused Bartlett pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, creamy and viscous. The flavor profile is an oak infused Anjou pear and banana. There is a touch of toffee mixed into the back palate as well. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. I would suggest this Chard with chicken ravioli with a Shiitake mushroom cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A unique tangerine character opens and closes this golden straw like color wine. A touch of pineapple and mineral notes include a full mouth feel. This wine accompanies fish that is prepared with citrus rind perfectly that enhances the wonderful characters of the wine.
